Yordas Cave, Kingsdale

Yordas Cave gets its name from the Nordic words Jord Ass. No, it doesn't mean that. It means earth stream. The earth stream is the stream that runs through the cave from a waterfall that's in a little room off the side of the main chamber.

People say this rock looks like the map of Wales. I think it looks more like a big mouth that was going to eat people before it got turned to stone.

Norber Boulders near Austwick

The Norber Boulders are near Austwick. They are sandstone boulders that were brought here in the last ice age by glaciers. Some of the boulders stand on top of younger limestone rock. You can't push them over - I tried.
